The PMI Palmetto Chapter Communications Team supports the external communications to our Chapter members based on internal requests from our internal Teams and Volunteers.
The Communications Team also supports the internal Teams and Volunteers technical tools (e.g. Website, SharePoint, Social Media, Newsletter and Bulletin).
Consults with VP of Communications to determine most appropriate schedule of deliverables and objectives for Chapter newsletter and communication emails assembly and distribution.
Proficiency in the English language.
Familiar with appropriate style guidelines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Creates, develops, plans, writes and edits documents for publication. Edits documentation for style, clarity, consistency, and adherence to PMI Palmetto guidelines.
Interacts closely with authors, other Technical Editor-Writers, word processing, graphics, and reproduction staff in the preparation and production of a variety of documents.
Creates new or modifies existing communication for special events / documents.
Evaluates and provides feedback on draft documents and attends documentation reviews.
Checks all documentation for proper grammar
Coordinates production of the monthly newsletter for final documentation with the authors.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Knowledge of HTML and web-based technology is preferred
- MS PowerPoint and Word
